Does anyone else here watch "The L-Word"?
I've onyl watched half of the first season, but I like it and I have the
first two seasons on DVD, to watch at my leisure.
Here's the thing.... I appreciate afp/abp's attitude toward spoilers more
than ever. It doesn't ruin my life to have info revealed to me, but I'm
happier without it.
So, the other day I was looking at various groups on Facebook, trying to
find LGBT groups to join. I saw one for fans of L-Word, so I clicked on it
to read the description.
Here's part of description:
"Do you talk about Bette, Tina, Dana, Shane, Alice, Kit, Carmen, Helena,
Angus, and Jenny as if they were your friends?
Did you pre-order the Season 2 DVD months and months in advance? Do you
anxiously await the Season 3 DVD release... even before season 3 is over?
Did you cry like a baby when <NAME> <VERBED>?"
When WHO WHATTED? You utter *twit*!
I could just choke the person who wrote that description, because now I get
to watch not knowing when this . . . EVENT . . . happens.
I am soooo steamed.

I'm a big fan of Firefly. I don't know if you've ever come across any
of the icon-making communities on Livejournal, but there are several
Firefly ones.
Just after I'd finished watching the DVDs of the series, someone on one
of these communities posting a couple of icons with huge spoilers for
Serenity (film accompanying the Firefly series, if anyone doesn't
know). I mean *huge* spoilers. I was not best pleased, especially
since they had no warning attached and weren't behind a cut.
In a way, it's a good job I knew about one of them, as it would have
been a bit of a shock when I watched it. But I could have done without
knowing about the others.

No actual spoilers here.

When <name> <verbed> in Firefly is about the same speed as the L-Word
spoiler I mention.
